Projections Show Gap In State Health Insurance Enrollment

"According to new estimates from the AAP, 6.4 million children eligible for state administered health insurance programs will continue to go uninsured in 2001 unless they are enrolled in these programs.  Unfortunately many parents of children who qualify for the SCHIP or Medicaid do not yet know that free or low-cost state health insurance exists."
